The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council , Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for appointing the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Oba Ismail Yahya Alebiosu as the 2025 Amirul-Hajj.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, in a statement issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, rejoiced with the monarch and expressed confidence in his ability to deliver and justify the confidence reposed in him.
The Emir prayed Almighty Allah to guide him in his new assignment towards providing hitch-free Hajj Operations by leading Kwara Contigents to perform one of Five Pillars of Islam in Makkah and Madinnah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this year.
“Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, on behalf of the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, thanked the State Governor for the honour and appealed to the members of Hajj Committee in the state to support Oba Ismail Yahya Alebiosu in order to succeed in his mandate”, the statement said.
