The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has expressed his deep appreciation to Nigerians for celebrating with him on his 29th coronation anniversary as the 11th Emir of Ilorin.
A statement issued on Tuesday by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, disclosed that the monarch is extremely overwhelmed by the large turnout and avalanche of goodwill messages as well fervent prayers offered to him during the historic event.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari specially thanked the Sardauna of Ilorin and Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, for his exceptional leadership qualities and show of love at all times to the dynasty and the entire Traditional Rulers Council in the state
He also expressed his gratitude to the people of Kwara State, members of Ilorin Emirate Council, Associations, groups, public office holders, traditional title holders, Council of Ulama as well as private individuals for the several events such as empowerment programmes organised to mark his 29years anniversary on the throne.
The Emir however restates his desire for the people of Ilorin Emirate, Kwarans and Nigerians at large to continue to love each other in order to sustain the peaceful coexistence in the society and attract more developments to the grassroot.
He therefore commended governments at all levels for putting in place numerous infrastructural development that have brought modernization to Kwara State and made the state to be unique across the country.
He prayed for more prosperity, peace and harmony in Nigeria and global world at large.
