Emir Sulu-Gambari salutes Lamido of Adamawa over 10yrs coronation anniversaryThe Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari,  has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Lamido of Adamawa, Alhaji Muhammadu Barkindo, has he clocks 10 years on the throne.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari also described the 10 years journey as eventful and historic in the life of the people of the state at large.

The monarch stated this in a congratulatory message issued by his Media Aide, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona on Saturday, stressing that Alhaji Barkindo’s ascension to the throne some 10 years ago has further confirmed Allah’s favour and blessings on him.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari also commended him for preserving the unique culture and traditions of his kingdom as well as his contributions to the various interactions of national interest through the National and Northern Traditional Council platforms respectively.

According to the him: “I have been directed by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR to convey his congratulatory message to Your Royal Highness on this auspicious occasion of your 10 years coronation anniversary on the stool as the Lamido of Adamawa.

“Your reign has being so eventful and monumental to the entire inhabitants of the various communities in the state as a first class traditional ruler and Chairman Council of Chiefs in the state.  Your supports and progressive stands for successive governments in the state in the last 10 years has further brought significant growth and developments to the people. “May Almighty Allah keep and protect the throne to the best of your wishes, grant you long life and more successful service to the good people of Adamawa kingdom.”
