Emulate qualities of Prophet Muhammad beyond Ramadan– Yakubu Gobir

An Entrepreneur, Alhaji Yakubu Gobir has called for religious tolerance and mutual respect among people of different religious beliefs.

In a statement issued in Ilorin to felicitate with Muslims Ummah on the celebration of Eid-Fitr celebration marking the end of Ramadan Fast, Alhaji Gobir urged Muslims to always imbibe the lessons of the holy month

According to him, the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and qualities of Prophet Muhammad should be emulated by the Muslim faithful beyond the Ramadan.

ROYAL NEWS reports that Gobir who is the Waziri Kasar Hausa, also described Ramadan as a period of spiritual rebirth and self-appraisal in the service of Allah and humanity, charged Muslims not to relent in alms giving and assisting the less privileged in the society.

He therefore appealed to them to always offer prayers for the nation to overcome the turbulent period and have a peaceful general elections next year.
