Arrangements have been concluded by the Etsu Nupe and chairman Niger State Council of traditional rulers, Alhaji (Dr) Yahaya Abubakar CFR to host a Colloquium on Agriculture and an endowment fund for his Foundation.
The Bida emirate ceremony committee in a statement issued on Tuesday disclosed that the event would hold on Saturday, 28 of June, 2025 at Ladi Kwali hall, Abuja Continental Hotel (formerly Sheraton Hotel) by 11am.
Checks revealed that the event will be Chaired by Colonel Sani Bello Rtd, while the Executive Governor of Niger State, Farmer Umar Mohammed Bago (Turaki Nupe) is the CHIEF HOST and Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Barr. Nyeson Wike, would be the HOST.
The statement noted that, “The event is an avenue for professionals in the field of agriculture and related studies to brainstorm and proffer solution to teething problems detering the development of agriculture in Nigeria.
“It is also a forum for contributing to sustenance of the objectives of Etsu Yahaya Foundation which is primarily established to cater for the indigents in the areas of Education, health, Youth and Women empowerment among others.”
