Ex-Immigration boss tasks FG over high rates of kidnap

The Federal Government has been urged to network with all stakeholders and do everything possible to ensure the immediate release from victims who are under Boko Haram captivity.
Former Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service, David Parradang on thursday expressed sadness over the unjustifiable abduction of another Aid Worker and Plateau indigene, Jennifer Ukambong Samuel by the Boko Haram sect.
ROYAL NEWS recalled that three other Plateau indigenes had been previously executed by the sect.
Paradang further said government must do everything thing possible to ensure the release of the present Aid Worker and others in captivity in Borno State.
He noted that the increasing menace of armed robbery, kidnappings and abductions in the country is a pointer to the fact that more needs to be done to ensure the safety of the citizens of the country wherever they are .
While identifying with the family of the Plateau Aid Worker, Jennifer Ukambong Samuel and relations of other citizens of this country held in captivity, Parradang expresses hope that the New Year will bring good tidings to their doorsteps concerning the anticipated release of their loved ones.
He also called for the gradual disengagement of the Nigeria military in the north east region instead of an abrupt demobilization currently being underway to allow paramilitary and other security agencies taking over the terrain enough time to integrate and familiarize themselves with efficient strategic operational requirements for sustaining grounds recovered in the fight against insurgency in the country.
