Ex-Kwara guber candidate declares support for Yaman ambition 

Ahead of the forthcoming general election, the former governorship candidate on the platform of Labour Party, (LP), in Kwara State, Dr. Mike Omotosho, has declared his support for a gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Alhaji Shuib Yaman Abdullahi.

Speaking with journalist in Offa on Saturday, the Coordinator of Mike Omotosho Foundation, Mr Kehinde Bankole, disclosed that, “Dr. Mike Omotosho has considered Alhaji Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi as the most appropriate personality for the Kwara Project 2019.”

He further noted that adopting zoning formula in order to ensure equity and fairness among Kwarans should not be negotiated by all and sundry, rather, it should be embraced by all in order to allow the realization of even development of our communities.

According to him, “Haven accepted the fact that Kwara Central and South senatorial districts respectively have had more than enough in the current dispensation by governing the state for 20 years (1999-2019), Dr. Mike Omotosho has directed all his coordinators across the state to join the Yaman Support Group to further boost his chances. He has also donated some vehicles to be branded for Yaman’s campaign project as well as provide more logistics yet to come.”

In his reaction, the Director General of Yaman Support Group, Hon. Olabode Towoju, thanked Dr. Mike Omotosho for his steadfastness and genuine concern for the growth and development of Kwara State stressing that, “Kwarans under Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi will no doubt witness meaningful progress and among others.$

He however welcome all the supporters of  Dr. Mike Omotosho to get integrated into the campaign team of the APC aspirant to further garner more supports for him ahead of the party’s primaries .
