Ex-Radio Kwara GM dies at 83, Gov. AbdulRazaq mourns

A former General Manager of the Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation (Radio Kwara) Engr. Hassan Adewuyi, is dead.

He died at the age of 83. ROYAL NEWS gathered that the deceased was the helmsman of the atate owned Radio Station from 1995 to 1999.

Engr. Adewuyi, who died on Monday night at the age of 83, was the General Manager of Radio Kwara between 1995 and 1999.

Meanwhile, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has joined family and friends to mourn the passing of Engr. Adewuyi, according to a statement issued by his Spokesman, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Wednesday.

The statement said: “The Governor specifically commiserated with his wife and Director of Programmes at Radio Kwara, Hajia Muibat Adedayo Adewuyi, and the children on the development, asking them to take solace in the impactful life that Engr. Hassan led.

“Engr. Adewuyi was a committed public servant who contributed immensely to the growth of the Premier electronic media house in the state, according to the Governor.”

Governor AbdulRazaq therefore asked Allaah to forgive and grant Engr Adewuyi a place in Al-jannah Firdaus and keep the family upon goodness.
