Exclusive…….Kwara PDP chairman, Akogun Oyedepo lobbying for APC chairmanship

Facts have emerged that the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara State, Chief Akogun Oyedepo, has commenced arrangement to join the mainstream of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state.

ROYAL NEWS reliably gathered Akogun, had in the past few days opened discussions with the leader of Kwara APC and Minister for Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, in order to absorb his political structure and integrate them into the APC system.

However, it was revealed among major other demands of Akogun is lobbying to become the chairman of APC haven perceived himself as the leader of opposition struggle in Kwara Politics.

Akogun who is known to be working assiduously for the Hon. Moshood Mustapha’s governorship bid is ready to shift ground and announce his defection from PDP once his demand of becoming Kwara APC is obliged as a result of the planned defection of Nigeria’s senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki political structure into PDP as well as the possibility of evetually hijacking the party.
