Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has alleged that he is in possession of a video that reveals how late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, was killed.
In a video shared on social media, Fabiyi appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene in the ongoing investigation, insisting that the matter is being mishandled.
Fabiyi also claimed the video was sent to him as part of an attempt to extort him. He revealed that he had written a letter to President Tinubu in May 2025, stating that Mohbad was “murdered.”
According to him, the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja had reviewed Mohbad’s case file and identified key suspects before an alleged attempt to suppress the findings.
“They want to cover it up,” Fabiyi said. “They are even asking the same suspects to write a petition against me over illegal arrests. This suspect wants to silence me because they want to use the video against you.”
