Fuel subsidy: Court stops NLC, TUC, others from embarking on strike
Following the threat by the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC) and members of the Organised Labours to embark on nationwide strike to commence on Wednesday, National Industrial Court sitting in Abuja on Monday ruled aganist the planned action.
In a suit filed by the federal government, Attorney General Federation against the Nigerian Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress, the court ordered the unions to stop any industrial action pending the hearing and determination of a motion on Notice dated 5th June, 2023.
