Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has approved the imposition of a 24-hour curfew on the Kasuwan Magani community of the state.
A statement on Thursday by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor (Media and Publicity) Samuel Aruwan, said the imposition of the 24 hour curfew is with immediate effect.
It said Kasuwan Magani is situated in Kajuru Local Government Area of the state.
The area in February during a sectarian crisis had seven persons killed and 15 others injured.
