The Greek government presented an outline for the planned easing of restrictions due to the pandemic as tourists are set to return on May 15.
Beach bars and managed beaches may reopen on Saturday, an official told state television.
Schools are to open again on Monday while museums are allowed to reopen on May 14.
Open air cinemas open again on May 21 and amphitheatres open on May 28.
Outdoor restaurants opened again last Monday, following a six-month closure.
These are cautious steps but urgently needed to re-open the country, the head of the Civil Defence, Nikos Chardalias, said on Friday.
He also called on people to follow the regulations, a plea echoed by a medical expert, Vana Papaevangelou, a member of the country’s pandemic crisis staff.
While the number of infections is falling, local outbreaks can be expected as places open up again, they said.
Additional regulations accompany the reopening.
In schools, pupils have to show they have tested negative for the virus, on Mondays and Thursdays.
They are to be given testing kits free of charge.
Restaurants must ensure tables are placed at certain distances apart and no more than six people may gather at a table.
Only half of seats may be filled at open-air cinemas and amphitheatres.
The curfew, from 11.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m., remains in place.
The Greek health authority recorded 2,691 new cases within the past 24 hours on Friday.
