Mr. Ibrahim Umar been appointed as the new spokesman for the Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR).

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, made the appointment on Sunday as contained in a statement issued by the outgoing spokesman, Yunusa Tanko.

This followed Tanko’s recent appointment as the interim National Coordinator of the Obedient Movement.

ROYAL NEWS reports that Umar, a computer media analyst and graduate of Bayero University Kano (BUK), hails from Wase in Plateau State.

Prior to his appointment, he has been a dedicated member of the Obi-Datti Media Group and is recognized as a strong young supporter from North Central Nigeria.

Tanko, now tasked with coordinating the activities of the Obedient Movement both nationally and internationally, expressed confidence in Umar’s ability to continue the media efforts that have been central to the movement.
