Ilorin Emirate Youths Grieve Over Abba Kyari’s death

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) has condoled with President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR and the good people of Borno State, most importantly, the Borno Youths over the death of the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, who died on Friday night.

In a condolence message jointly signed by the *National President of IEYDA, Alhaji Abdullahi Babatunde Salaudeen and the National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Mohammed Uthman Jagunma, on Saturday, described the death of Abba Kyari as a national loss and disaster, considering the great roles he played during his time as the Chief of Staff to the Presidency.

The statement described the late Chief of Staff as an experienced administrator and nationalists who demonstrated his worth by giving his all to the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari-led government in a bid to bring dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of Nigerians, while also contributing greatly to national growth and development as a trusted hand and confidant of Mr. President.

According to the statement, Abba Kyari will be remembered forever by the members of IEYDA, as all the correspondences the IEYDA received from Presidency were through his good offices.

The IEYDA prayed Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, admit him into al-janatul firdaos and give Nigerians, the People of Borno and the entire Borno Youths the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

It therefore urged Nigerians and Kwarans to take a great lesson from the incident, and face the reality that COVID-19 is a deadly disease, and not a myth. Stating that people should take personal hygiene serious, observe physical distancing and STAY AT HOME!
