The Director of Policy, Reasearch and Startegy of the All Progressives Congress , (APC), presidential campaign council,  Professor Shuaib Oba Abdulraheem, has restated his commitment to the victory of the party in the forthcoming rescheduled polls.

He also directed all members of the Talba Support Group,  (TSG), to vote for the APC candidates at all levels in order to ensure that the liberation struggle going on in Kwara State is realized with overwhelming victory.

The APC chieftain who is also a former governorship aspirant in a statement issued in Ilorin on Wednesday appealed to electorates to ensure that they troop out en mass and express their franchise in the  February 23 and March 9, polls urging them to resist all forms temptation and intimidation before, during and after the elections.

He however described as falsehood a rumour making the rounds that he is canvassing votes for the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) even as he specifically dissociated himself from any act of anti-party stressing that the frivolous act was cooked by some unscrupulous elements within the opposition party who are afraid of defeat.

According to him, “The struggle at hand is beyond the interest of any individual, it is a collective struggle towards emancipating and securing the future of our dear state and nation as well as generations yet unborn . As a chieftain of the APC in Kwara State and Director in the presidential campaign council,  I’m committed to the O’To ge struggle in the State and 4+4 project at the national.

“Such unfounding rumours are barbaric, unwarranted, libellous, frivolous, condemnable and parts of desperate antics of the PDP’s paymaster aimed at maligning my character in order to achieve undeserving sympathy from innocent electorates.”

“I hereby appeal to our teeming party supporters across the state to stand firm, resilient, focus and massively vote for President Muhammadu Buhari for second term, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as the Kwara state Governor, and all APC candidates across the state in order to take nation to the Next Level.”

The statement therefore warned the sponsors of the rumour and cohorts to desist from such dastard acts or face the full wrath of the law and urged the Independent National Electoral Commission,  (INEC) discharge the responsibilities of ensuring that the votes of the electorates counts.
