IS LAKER’S LEBRON-AD ONE-TWO PUNCH ENOUGH FOR CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE?

Published

on

The last time the Lakers had a strong duo was when Kobe and O’neal won three straight championship titles.

However, the one-two punch system might be out of date as teams like Golden state Warriors, Boston Celtics, Miami Heats and San antonio Spurs has shown that a team needs a strong trio to compete for championship title in the modern day era of the game, teams like Dallas Maverick and Toronto Raptors makes use of strong and highly competent support players around a single star player.

The one-two punch system is basically a Lakers thing as Pau Gasol joined Kobe in 2009 and 2010 to deliver two more titles to the team.

Lebron James and Anthony Davis will try to prove that the said system is still relevant as they take on the Houston Rockets in the Western conference Semis, the Rockets consists of the combination of James Harden and Russell Westbrook. Will the one-two punch system deliver the championship back to La Lakers?
