Juma Jux Recounts Love Story With Wife Priscilla Ojo

Date:

Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has shared details of how he met and fell in love with his Nigerian wife, Priscilla Ojo, describing their first encounter as love at first sight.

In an interview with Yanga FM Lagos, Jux said he met Priscilla in Rwanda and was unaware at the time that she was a public figure.

According to the singer, his initial attraction was based on her appearance, but his decision to marry her was influenced by her communication skills and personal qualities.

“I met Priscilla in Rwanda. I didn’t know she was a celebrity,” Jux said. “When I saw her, it was love at first sight. I thought she was beautiful, and after our conversations, I knew she was the one I would marry.”

He added that he only became aware of her celebrity status after hosting her in Zanzibar, when their time together attracted attention on social media and entertainment blogs.

Jux also said his marriage has had a positive effect on his career, noting a significant increase in his fan base in Nigeria and across West Africa.

The couple married earlier this year and welcomed their son, Rakeem, in Canada on August 24, 2025.
