JUST IN….Bandits storm catholic school in Niger, abduct students, staff

Terrorists have reportedly abducted an unspecified number of students and staff from the St. Mary’s School, a Catholic institution located in Papiri community, Agwara Local Government Area of Niger State.

According to sources who spoke to Daily Trust, several students were abducted during a nighttime raid on the school.

A source from a Catholic church in the state confirmed the incident, adding that the school is currently compiling its records to determine the exact number of abducted persons.

“Yes, it is true, but I am not in a position to give details. The church will issue an official statement later in the day,” he said.
