The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA), has mourned the passing of the Chairman, Monarch Luxury Palace Hotels, Engr. Aliyu Yusuf.
IEYDA in a condolence message issued by the National President, Abdullahi Babatunde and National Publicity Secretary, Muhammad Jagunmo, said: “It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Engr. Aliyu Yusuf, a noble son of Ilorin Emirate and a pillar of our community. His demise is a monumental loss to our emirate, and we mourn the departure of this exceptional individual.”
The group described Late Engr. Aliyu Yusuf as a shining example of selflessness, compassion, and philanthropy, whose tireless efforts to uplift and support the less privileged, as well as his contributions to the development of Ilorin Emirate, will never be forgotten.
IEYDA recounted Late Engr. Aliyu’s generosity, kindness, and dedication to the welfare of the people of Ilorin Emirate and beyond.
According to the statement, Late Engr. Aliyu Yusuf was a true leader, mentor, and inspiration to many, whose legacy will continue to inspire and motivate us to strive for greatness.
“IEYDA extend heartfelt condolences to the immediate family, the entire Isale-Oja Community, friends, and associates of Late Engr. Aliyu Yusuf, while praying to Allah to grant him eternal rest and paradise, and comfort those he left behind”, it added.
