Kwara APC crisis: See full recommendations from Aradun APC peace committee

While the ongoing crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress, (APC) continues to take different dimension, party Stalwarts in Arandun ward have insisted that for peace to reign in the party, the below recommendations must be invoke.

 

Excerpts:

ARANDUN WARD IN IREPODUN LGA, KWARA STATE FINAL RECOMMENDATION FROM THE RECONCILIATION COMMITTEE FROM THEIR FINDINGS FROM THE TWO FACTIONS

1. From the outcome of the two factions, they resolved together that, Arandun chairman (Mr Segun Atolagbe) should go on one month suspension without option
2. Mr Segun Atolagbe should beg all the Ward leaders publicly
3. Faction should be phased out of Arandun ward and there should be no more affiliation
4. The document with which Mr Segun Atoagbe registered the APC branded motor cycle as Okada express should be surrendered to the party
5. That all APC properties in Mr Segun Atolagbe possession should be handed over to his assistant without further delay
6. That all money realised from Okada express at 1000 naira per day from April 10, 2019 to September 30, 2019 should be remitted to the party’s financial secretary which will be handed over to the treasurer of the ward, and repayment should be made before the expiration of the suspension
7. For the clarity of conscience, the burnt machine should be brought to the meeting of the ward at Arandun
8. That the balance of 4,000 naira being the balance of the money kept with him should be handed over to the Assistant Treasurer
9. Matters affecting the party, members should learn to report the disagreement within the ward or local government to the executives therein and not take internal matters to outsiders.
*The committee believes that after his one month suspension and total compliance with all the conditions spelt above, the people of Arandun APC should consider him for reinstatement and re-absorption to his chairmanship position.*
