Kwara Assembly Speaker’s father, Salihu Gwanara is dead

Alhaji Salihu Aliyu Gwanara, father to the Speaker of the Kwara State House, Engr. Yakubu Danladi, is dead.
A foremost educator, Alhaji Gwanara was until his demise the Tafariki of Borgu Kingdom.
A statement issued by Alhaji Mohammed Salihu, on behalf of the family revealed that Alhaji Aliyu Gwanara died on Friday 17th June, 2022 and was buried according to Islamic rites on Saturday in his hometown in Gwanara.
Late Salihu Gwanara was a former councilor in the old Borgu Kingdom, ROYAL NEWS reports.
