ROYAL NEWS gathered that the CP spoke on Friday during his tour of the northern part of Kwara State, which consists of Baruten and Kaiama local government areas, Kosubosu, Okuta and Ilesha Baruba; according to a statement by the command’s spokesperson, Mr. Ajayi Okasanmi.
He added that the visit was to ensure that there was cooperation with all relevant stakeholders.
Amore described community policing as integral to his security strategy and emphasised the importance of mutual confidence, respect for the rule of law, alternative dispute resolution, accountability of service, and others.
He warned police personnel to avoid vices, extortion, indiscipline, and drunkenness.
