Kwara guber aspirant charges newly elected party excos on dedication

A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), in the forthcoming 2019 general elections in Kwara State, Alhaji Tajudeen Audu, has expressed his delight over the peaceful conduct of the last Saturday’s State Congress of the party.

He urged the newly elected executive members of the party to remain committed, steadfast and loyal to the leadership of the party as well as the political structure in the state.
In his congratulatory message to the newly elected excos issued on Monday, Alhaji Audu who is also the Makama Lafiagi felicitated with the party’s chairman , Hon. Ishola Balogun-Fulani and 34 others and wished them a successful tenure in office.
Alhaji Audu also rejoiced with the ward and local government party excos on their victories at the ward and local government congresses respectively, ROYAL NEWS reports.
He described their election through consensus as a good omen for democratic practice as well as political advancement in the country especially in Kwara State noting that, “Their elections into various offices is a reward of their loyalty, commitment and contributions to the growth of the party in their respective localities over the years.”
The APC chieftain however advised electorates to expedite actions towards obtaining their Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC) in order to enable them exercise their franchise in the forthcoming general elections.
He therefore congratulated Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for their visionary leadership qualities in the state and nation at large.
