In a statement signed by the Chairman and Secretary, Comrade Abiodun Abdulkareem and Mallam Babatunde Jimba, dissociated Kwara NUJ from such report as it is unethical and unfounded, ROYAL NEWS reports.

According to the statement,”The Union views the said report as an attempt to raise false alarm to disrupt the relative peace and stability being enjoyed by residents of the state.

“We therefore call on security agencies to beef investigations with a view to unravel the mastermind of the alleged report which run foul of ethical conduct in the journalism profession.”
