Maikudi sacked as UNIABUJA Vice Chancellor, Lar Manko appointed

Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi has been sacked from her position as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja.

President Bola Tinubu gave the approval on Thursday along with some other major shake-ups in some Universities across the country.

Recalled that UNIABUJA was recently renamed Yakubu Gowon University, ROYAL NEWS reports.

Maikudi was immediately replaced by Professor Lar Patricia Manko, who will serve as Acting Vice-Chancellor for a six-month term.

In addition, the President also approved the appointment of Senator Lanre Tejuoso as the new Pro-Chancellor of the University, while Senator Joy Emordi now takes over as Pro-Chancellor at the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.
