Man rapes 37-yr-old teacher, stole money and underwear

A 36-year-old man, Nomore Munemo, has been arraigned before a Zimbabwean magistrate court for allegedly raping a teacher and making away with her cash and underwear.

ROYAL NEWS  learnt that, the accused is currently facing a two-count bordering on rape and theft.

According to Zimnews, the 37-year-old teacher alighted from a commuter omnibus and headed to St. Micheals School, where she works and lives. Read also: Two men drugs and rape 8-yr-old girl in River

On her way, she met the accused who greeted her but she refused to oblige his pleasantries. After walking a while, she discovered that Munemo was trailing her, so she started running away.

He gave her a hot chase until he caught up with her. He tripped her onto the ground, but she managed to fight him off and she again tried to flee from him.

When the suspect caught her for the second time, he again tripped her to the ground, slapped and kicked her several times.

It was said that the complainant later approached a nearby homestead and phoned a workmate who later arrived with the school head and ferried her to St. Michael’s Hospital.
