The Peoples Democratic Party PDP has suspended its  Niger state Deputy Chairman Alhaji Aminu Yussuf.
The decision, according to ROYAL NEWS findings was taken at an emergency meeting of the state working committee held at the party’s secretariat in Minna on Friday.
A statement signed by the State Secretary of the Party Alhaji Abdullahi Santali and made available to  the media said
Aminu Yussuf was found guilty of all the allegations brought against him by the Wushishi local government area of the party and the Niger North Senatorial district.
Among the complaints and allegations which Aminu Yussuf was found guilty were: “gross misconduct, anti party activities and engaging in conducts unbecoming of a party executive”.
Santali’s statement reads in part: “that Alhaji Aminu Yussuf the state Deputy Chairman is hereby suspended from office to allow for investigations of complaints against him, ” That the complaints against Alhaji Aminu Yussuf be referred to the disciplinary Committee of the party for investigation “.
The party scribe also reminded its members that ” no member is above the law and that every member should strive to adhere to the rules and regulations of the party with a view to improving its fortunes in the state”
Efforts to reach Alhaji Aminu Yussuf for his reaction on his cell phones proved abortive.
However an unconfirmed source said the suspended PDP chieftain was planning to defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress very soon.
