Commanding Officers of the Nigerian Army will hold a five-day meeting in Kaduna to strategise on more efficient and functional ways of handling personnel and resources in peace time and war.
A statement issued on Saturday by Col. Kingsley Umoh, spokesman of 1 Division, Nigeria Army, Kaduna, said the Chief of Army Staff and Principal Staff Officers from the Army Headquarters would attend the event.
He said that the Commanding Officers Workshop was the second to be held after the maiden edition which took place in Maiduguri from March 13-17, this year.
“Over 75 Commanding Officers drawn from formations and units of the NA are expected at the workshop,’’ he said in the statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Umoh explained that the workshop was aimed at improving knowledge and capacity of the commanding officers in effective administration of resources at all times..
He added that the participants would share experiences and ideas with their peers and superiors that would guide them in the effective discharge of their responsibilities.
