The Super Eagles have officially opened their training camp in Antalya, Turkey, ahead of upcoming international friendlies against Iran and Jordan. The camp serves as the team’s preparation base for the two matches scheduled next week.
Coaches and team officials arrived in Istanbul on Tuesday morning and are expected to reach the Antalya training base by noon. The camp will bring together all invited players, who are also slated to begin arriving today.
The team’s first training session in Antalya is scheduled for later tonight, giving players an opportunity to acclimatize and start tactical preparations under the coaching staff.
Éric Chelle’s squad is set to face Iran in the first friendly match on Friday in Antalya, marking the start of their international engagements in the camp. This match will provide an early test of team cohesion and strategies.
The second friendly, against Jordan, is scheduled for next Tuesday in Antalya. Both matches are part of the Super Eagles’ broader preparations ahead of forthcoming international competitions.b
