NILDS DG condoles Kwara Gov, Emir of Kaiama over boat mishap

The Director General, National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS, National Assembly, Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman condoles the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, over the tragic boat mishap that claimed several lives in Kaiama Local Government Area of the State.

Professor Sulaiman conveyed his condolences in a statement signed by his Media Adviser, Mohammad Abdulkadri.

He expressed deepest concern over what he described as an unfortunate incident that cut- short the dreams of vibrant kwarans and to that extent, a big loss to the human capital asset of Kaiama Local Government Area in particular and to the State of harmony in general.

While sympathising and empathising with the immediate families of the boat mishap, he conndoled the Emir of Kaiama, Alhaji Mohammed Mu’azu Shehu and the residents of the Gbajibo Mundi Community in Kaiama Local Government Area.

He prays for the quick recovery of those rescued and eternal rest for those who lost their lives even as he cautioned boats operators to be circumspect and always ensure the use of life jackets by passengers in order to guide against future occurrences.
