NPFL Matchday 10 Produces Exciting Results

The 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 10 fixtures produced thrilling results across various centers on Sunday, with Abia Warriors, Warri Wolves, and Wikki Tourists all recording impressive home victories.

In Umuahia, Abia Warriors secured a comfortable 2–0 win over Barau FC to maintain their strong start to the season, while Warri Wolves defeated Bayelsa United by the same scoreline to continue their resurgence in the league.

Wikki Tourists also impressed in Bauchi, earning a convincing 2–0 victory against Shooting Stars, while Rangers International were held to a goalless draw by visiting Kwara United in Enugu.

Elsewhere, Kun Khalifat FC and Bendel Insurance played out a 1–1 draw, while Plateau United edged Enyimba International 2–1 in a closely contested encounter in Jos.

Meanwhile, two earlier fixtures were decided before Sunday’s games. On October 24, Katsina United claimed a narrow 1–0 win over El-Kanemi Warriors, while a day later, Kano Pillars suffered a 0–2 home defeat to Niger Tornadoes.

Two remaining fixtures are yet to be played. Rivers United will host Ikorodu City on October 29, while Nasarawa United will face Remo Stars on November 5 to complete Matchday 10 proceedings.

The latest round of matches has further tightened the NPFL table as teams continue to jostle for early-season momentum.
