NSCDC receives patrol vehicle donation, reaffirms commitment to community security in Kwara

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Tanke Division, a patrol vehicle has been generously donated to the division by the CEO of Hairsense Unisex Salon, Alhaji Ahmad Lawal.

Speaking during the handing over ceremony of the patrol van, The donor, Alhaji Ahmad Lawal, noted that there was need to partner with the corps in order to guarantee a safe and secure environment in the area, adding that this collaboration is crucial for fostering community trust and enhancing the effectiveness of security operations.

He emphasized that supporting the corps with necessary resources, such as the patrol vehicle, will help improve their response time and overall capability to maintain law and order in the community.

He commended the officers and men of the division for their relentless efforts in curbing crimes and criminal activities in the area. Additionally, he affirmed his ongoing support for the corps in fulfilling its mandates.

In his response, The Kwara state Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Dr Umar J.G Mohammed, extended his heartfelt gratitude to Alhaji Ahmad Lawal for his generous donation.

He highlighted the invaluable contribution it would make in enhancing the division’s operational efficiency and emphasized the pivotal role such support plays in reinforcing the security framework and ensuring the safety of communities across the state.

Commandant Umar reiterated the command’s readiness to collaborate with other security agencies and the community to effectively address crime and maintain peace and order in the state
