The Obajisun of Ayedun Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Olusegun A. Rotimi, has extended warm Sallah greetings to the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Emir of Ilorin, and the entire Muslim community across the state.
In a goodwill message released from the Royal Palace in Ayedun on Monday, the monarch commended the spirit of unity, sacrifice, and love that underpins the annual Islamic celebration of Eid al-Adha.
“On behalf of myself, the Obajisun-in-Council, and the good people of Ayedun Kingdom, I extend warm felicitations to His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on the occasion of the 2025 Sallah celebrations,” the royal statement read.
Oba Rotimi also paid tribute to the Emir of Ilorin, describing him as a spiritual beacon and a unifier within the Muslim community. He wished all Muslim faithful a joyous and peaceful celebration.
“May the spirit of sacrifice, love, and unity that defines this noble occasion guide us all towards a more prosperous and peaceful society,” he added.
The message comes amid preparations for Eid celebrations across Nigeria, with communities gathering for prayer, feasting, and acts of charity. The monarch’s call for harmony and collective progress echoes wider appeals for national unity during the festive period.
