Offa Community to commission new MOPOL Barracks tomorrow

The newly constructed MOPOL Barracks in Offa community, Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State is set for commissioning tomorrow (Thursday), ROYAL NEWS has gathered.

It would be recalled that as part of quick response to the recent armed robbery attacks which claimed lives of innocent persons, the Offa Descendant Union, (ODU), embarked on the construction of a multi-millionaire barracks to house MOPOL (Mobile Police Personnel) to further provide effective security for the people of the area.

The groundbreaking of the project was performed by the paramount traditional ruler of the community, the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mohammed Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II, the National President of ODU, Alhaji Najeem Yasin and other eminent indigenes of the town.
