One kidnap suspect feared dead after raid of ex-Vice Chancellor’s resident

Barely twenty-four hours after neutralizing 250 by police, kidnappers have reportedly raided the residents of former Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, Zaria Prof. Abdullahi Mustapha, and kidnapped over three people.

A scanty reports bearing one Dr. Umar Abubakar, faculty of Engineering, ABU Zaria stated that the incident occurred last night at a location yet to be disclosed.

The report read in parts: “This is to Inform you that Kidnappers have raid former VC’s house (Prof Abdullahi Mustapha last night) , one of our Staff Maryam Abdullahi Mustapha, her children and her elder sister were all abducted.

“We solicit for your Prayers. From my friend Dr. Umar Abubakar ,faculty of Engineering, ABU Zaria”, it stated.

Police PPRO DSP Yakubu Sabo was yet to react to the clarification message sent him by journalists at the time of filling this report.
