Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, will be aiming to make history when Galatasaray face Bodo/Glimt in their UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday.
Osimhen is seeking to become the first player to score in seven consecutive European matches for the Turkish giants.
The Nigerian striker currently shares the record with Burak Yilmaz, who found the net in six straight European fixtures back in 2012.
Osimhen equalled Yilmaz’s record after scoring the decisive goal in Galatasaray’s 1-0 victory over Liverpool last month.
The 26-year-old is expected to lead the attack as the Istanbul club host Bodo/Glimt in their matchday three encounter.
Osimhen, who came off the bench during Galatasaray’s 2-1 win over Istanbul Basaksehir last weekend, has three goals in seven appearances across all competitions this season.
