The Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo,attended the inauguration of President Paul Kagame of Rwanda for a fresh seven year term, which took place today in Kigali, the country’s capital.
Kagame, with little opposition was re-elected in the Aug. 4 presidential election.
A statement issued by the Spokesman to the Acting President, Mr Laolu Akande, said the Acting President was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Geoffrey Onyeama.
The inauguration was witnessed by many African Heads of State and Government.
Osinbajo was expected back in the country Friday.
