The statement reads, “I received with shock the sad news of the passing of our beloved PDP Chieftain Senator Rafiu Ibrahim, who was said to be full of life just yesterday.

“Throughout his lifetime, Senator Rafiu has used his quest for personal development, scholarship, and philanthropy as a politician to put smiles on the faces of Kwara youths with the vibrant discharge of his role as the representative of his constituents. He was a loyal and great man.

“His passing is not only a loss to his friends, family, and associates, but also to the Saraki Dynasty in which he impacted many lives, the Kwara youths constituency, and the nation at large. No doubt, he lived a fulfilled life worth emulating. His legacies will be forever cherished and missed.

“I pray the families, friends, and associates of Senator Rafiu find solace in the enduring legacies he left behind. My heart and that of my family go to his family, friends, and entire Saraki Dynasty.

“May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah Firdaus,” Ali prayed.
