Royal News Newspapers sympathises with NTA Ilorin over fire outbreak

The Management of Royal News Online Newspapers, has sympathised with the entire management and staff of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA Channel 9, Ilorin over the unfortunate fire outbreak which gutted its facilities on Tuesday night.

In a statement issued by its Head of Administration and Technical Services, Mr. Olakunle Adeniyi, Royal News expressed shock over the inferno and prayed against the reoccurrence of such incidence in future.

According to him, “We received the news of the unfortunate incidence with great shock and surprise especially at this auspicious period when the new leadership of the station had embarked on renovation and upgrade of some of its facilities.

“NTA Ilorin has become an household name in our community due to the numerous educative and entertaining programmes which has made it continue to be relevant as a leading socially responsible Broadcast Station in the state.

“We sympathise with you at this trying time and pray that God should guard against reoccurrence of such unfortuante incidence nationwide.”

Royal News however commended Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his prompt response and visitation to the scene of the fire outbreak.

It would be recalled that the fire outbreak occurred at anout 11pm on Tuesday and destroyed valuable documents and office facilities.
