SAD…. Former NNPC GMD, Maikanti Baru dies at 60
Late Maikanta Baru
Another prominent Nigerian is dead. He is Dr Maikanti Baru, the immediate past Group Managing Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, (NNPC).
His death was confirmed by NNPC GMD, Mele Kyari in a tweet on Saturday. He was aged 60.
ROYAL NEWS gathered that late Baru served as the 18th GMD of NNPC between 2016 and 2019.
