SAD… Gunmen kill ex-Plateau SSG

Former Secretary to the Plateau State Government, Moses Gwom, has been attacked and killed by some unknown gunmen.

The Spokesperson of the Plateau state police command, Terna Tyopev, in a telephone interview with ROYAL NEWS correspondent in Jos, adding that “The attackers also injured 12 others.”

According to him, “Unknown gunmen attacked and killed one Moses Gwom, at his residence in Barkin Ladi at about 9 p.m. on‎ ‎Tuesday at his house located opposite STF checkpoint, 12 others were injured during the attack.”

“Residents of the area said the gunmen also attacked security operatives at the checkpoint before wrecking havoc on the residence of late official.”

He further added that,  “No arrest has been made, but security operatives are on the trail of the suspects.”
