SAD….Gunmen kill ‘Oko-Oloyun’ in Oyo

A frontline trado-medical expert, Alhaji Fatai Yusuf, a.k.a. Oko Oloyun, is dead.

ROYAL NEWS reports that late Oko Oloyun was on his way to Iseyin in Oyo State when he was attacked by unknown gunmen and shot dead.

The Oyo State Police Command confirmed the assassination on Thursday, 23 January, 2020, The Gazelle News.com can report.

He was killed along Igbo-ora/Eruwa Road at about 4.30pm.

Confirming the sad incident was the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the Oyo State Police Command, Mr Gbenga Fadeyi.

Fadeyi, a Superintendent of Police (SP), said the Commissioner of Police Mr Shina Olukolu has visited the site of the incident along with some deputy commissioners for an on-the-spot fact-finding mission.

The PPRO said Olukolu has directed a high-powered manhunt for the hoodlums that perpetrated the dastardly act with a view to bringing them to justice.
