Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has challenged President Muhammadu Buhari, in his fresh allegation that Nigeria is currently in a a situation where all 17 security agencies are headed by northern Muslims except for the Navy.
He also said that almost everyone working in Aso Rock today is Hausa Muslim, ROYAL NEWS reports.
The former minister who called on Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-rufai, to stop marginalisation against the people of Southern Kaduna, noted that, “Southern Kaduna people are not slaves.”
He also called on the governor to stop oppressing, harassing and intimidating the people of Southern Kaduna and ensure equitable distribution of resources, appointment, empowerment and development in the State.
Fani-Kayode who disclosed this in a speech, on the occasion of the 9th prayer summit of Southern kaduna Christian leaders Association held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at new KAFANCHAN township Stadium, KAFANCHAN, in Kaduna state, lamented that the “Christians in Nigeria are under siege.
“And a tactical government will know that you don’t joke with such people. El-rufai, stop the marginalisation against the Southern Kaduna people. Stop oppressing them. Stop the harassment and intimidation.
“Ensure equitable distribution of resources, appointment, empowerment and development in Kaduna State: Southern Kaduna people are not slaves”, he stated.
Represented by Rev. Emmanuel Olorunmagba, Fani-kayode said “All I said would happen if Buhari takes over have all happened. They know what they are doing, even if some of you don’t know.
“Everything else is in the hands of the Northern Muslim except the CBN Governor, who is doing their bidding. The Legislature is headed by Muslims. The House of Rep by Femi Muslim though from South West. The Senate by a northern Muslim. And ll the 4 principal officers are Northern Muslims.
“The Supreme Court is headed by a northern Muslim as well as the Appeal Court. Only the High Court is headed by a Christian.
“Don’t be deceived, either Boko Haram, unknown gunmen or Fulani Herdsmen are all the same. The difference is just change of name to deceive you. And those who are in charge in the country are Fulani Muslims.
I am not neither a religious bigot nor a racist, I am only against oppression no matter what form.
Get this clear today, RUGA is not just about cattle, but the real plan is about creeping into communities to take over your land and seek to get their own Sarki then seek to rule over the people. It’s about subjunctive, captivity and enslaving you in your own land.
Do I need to remind you that they have started the plan to take over your thrones? They want to change the title of your traditional rulers to Emirs and if you allow them succeed they will take the next step by imposing strangers on you to rule you just as Fulanis are ruling Ilorin in Kwara State.
The people of Southern Kaduna are under siege. The chains and shackles must be broken through effectual travailing prayers, but not prayer or just talking alone, there must also be a Solemn Assembly. There must be strategic planning and their must be specific well mapped out corresponding action. The Bible clearly declares that “faith without action is dead.”
The Church leaders too must speak out. Enough of killings in Southern Kaduna. The souls you are called to minister to are being massacred. Your people are being brutally murmured not because of their wrong doing, but just because of their faith and ethnicity. Is it a crime to be a Christian? Is it a crime be of Southern Kaduna extraction? But that is what they want to make you believe. Why will the Christian Leaders keep quiet in the face of such evil?
They are planting fear in the heart of the people. And fear creates the atmosphere for the devil, your oppressors to operate. Fear is of the devil while faith is of God. Fear is the opposite of faith. God works through faith while the devil works through fear.
No matter what, if we will not speak to ourselves and be fair to all, we may get to the extent that there may be no option but to stand for our right. But I pray it won’t get there”, stated
He quoted “Timothy 1:7, For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. I John 4:18 Fear has toment.
“They keep invading your communities to kill your people. A respected Royal Father was brutally murmured and your people were still arrested for no just cause.
For instance, on 8th December, 2019 evening at about 6:30pm. ZUNURUK community in KAURA LGA was attacked by Islamic Fulani militias for organizing an annual Christmas peace football tournament in the community. The attacked was a surprise to them due to the long time existing relationship between the fulani & the host community. The attack was close to military checking point. But no response from the securities to stop or arrest the attackers.
“Christian youths in the community were killed including the community coach and three other survived serious gunshots.
The names of those killed; Kefas Peter (39), Solomon Yohana (48), the secondary schoolteacher (Coach) and father of five, Felix John (46), Garba Barnabas (37) and Ishaku Dauda (26). Three others who survived gunshot were rushed to Hospital are Kajang Babangida, Francis Abba, Justice Dennis.
The state and federal government keeps mum without condemning or investigating to make any arrest. Despite a fulani mobile police officer was identified as a suspect.
Christians are killed on different occasions in Southern Kaduna. Since the administration of President Buhari and Governor El-rufai, Christians are facing series of human rights violations by the state government. Freedom of religion should not be a privilege but a right for Christians in rural community to worship freely.
There is marginalisation against Southern Kaduna in terms of development through government projects.
The good people of Southern Kaduna are being downgraded in terms of appointment. But only when they need your votes that they know you are important. After that they continue with the marginalisation, subjugation, dehumanisation and attempted annihilation.
But it’s time to rise and move forward. Isaiah 60:1-3.
The last election should have opened your eyes that if you can come as one people knowing that you are first a Southern Kaduna person before you are Bajju or Gbagyi or other tribes. If you will allow the progress of Southern Kaduna to take priority over your different tribes, then you can united as one people produce a governor in Kaduna State.
Don’t be intimated – Arise, shine and move forward. You have sat on a spot for too long.
In conclusion, I want to categorically and fundamentally assert that when you are ready for the GOVERNORSHIP you can count on me.
Thank you for the opportunity to speak to you. By the grace of God I believe that when else you invite I will be physically present”, Chief Fani-Kayode  said.
Earlier, the former minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, said “The Southern Kaduna People are the winners of the 2019 gubernatorial election. The election was a referendum. It was a show of unity. A show of your determination.
“I must start with sincere apology for not being able to be here physically. Though I had finalized all arrangements to come personally for this Prayer Summit as I have high regard for my brethren of Southern Kaduna extraction and share in your pains and joy. And up until the morning of yesterday, 3rd January, 2020 my security details were set for the journey, the vehicles were ready and other logistics had been finalised for me to hit the road with my team. But while getting ready to move, we received security intelligent report not to travel on that road yesterday and today; either through Jere, Kaduna metropolis or through train. It’s not boldness to disobey security advice, but foolishness.
“Hence, I had to heed the advice. You all know that I fear no mortal from any part of the world. But one of the ways God protects His own is to make intelligent report available to them at the right time. Psalm 91:1.
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
