Even many years after his demise, Shaykh Ibrahim Niass remain a very strong factor in the world especially, Africa. Read reasons:

1.      Shaykh Ibrahim Niass was born on 8th November 1900 in Taiba, about
Twenty-Five miles South of Kaulakhy, Senegal the border of Gambia
2.      He was named after his maternal grandfather, Ibrahim Diankha
3.       He memorized the complete glorious Qur’an at the tender age of
seven under the tutelage of his pious father, Alhaji Abdullahi Nas.
4.      Records showed that Shaykh Ibrahim Niass gave birth to Seventy-Five children
5.      He died in London in 1975 at the age of Seventy-Five
6.      At the age of 29, while on the farm in Kóosi Mbittéyeen, he
announced that he had been given the Key to Secrets of Divine
Knowledge, and thus became the Khalifa of Shaykh Tijani in the
Tijaniyya Order, a position yet to be attained by anyone as of that
time.
7.      In 1937 upon meeting Shaykh Ibrahim during a pilgrimage to Makkah,
the late Emir of Kano, Alhaji Abdullahi Ado Bayero gave his oath of
allegiance to the shaykh and declared himself a disciple of shaykh
Ibrahim.
8.      He was married to Sayyida Bilkisu, daughter of late Alhaji
Abdulmalik Atta – a prince from Okene and the first High Commissioner
of Nigeria to the United Kingdom.
9.      In 1988, Mawlid of Shaykh Ibrahim Niass was popularized in Nigeria
by an association known as “Majma Ahbab Shaykh Ibrahim Niass”
10.     Shaykh Ibrahim Niass’ branch of the Tijāniyya, Tareeqa
al-Tijaniyya al-Ibrahimiyya has become the largest branch in the
world.
