The false news about the 86-year-old Christ Apostolic Church singer, known for her hit song “Odun n lo sopin,” spread widely on social media and some news platforms on Monday.In a video shared online, Fasoyin described the reports as completely false, emphasizing that she is “hale and hearty” and in good health.
She reassured her followers, saying she expects to live a long life in good health, drawing a parallel to the biblical figure Abraham, and affirmed that she will leave the world peacefully when the time comes.
Fasoyin’s statement sought to calm concerned fans and correct misinformation, highlighting the dangers of viral falsehoods on social media.
