Southern senators hail Tinubu, Akpabio on national development

Nigerian Southern Senators’ Forum, SSF, has commended President Bola Tinubu and the leadership of the National Assembly, led by the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, for their efforts on national development.

In a statement to felicitate with all Nigerians on this year’s Easter celebration, the Forum particularly lauded the duo “for their unwavering dedication and leadership in advancing our nation’s development agenda.”

“The collaborative efforts between the executive and legislature and the visionary initiatives have significantly contributed to the progress and prosperity of our country. We wish all Nigerians a blessed and joy-filled Easter celebration,” it added

The SSF, in the statement jointly signed by its chairman, Senator Adetokunbo Abiru and the Publicity Secretary, Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong , stated that Easter is a time of reflection, renewal, and rejoicing.

“In the spirit of this joyous occasion, let us embrace the values of unity, compassion, sacrifice and solidarity. Let us reach out to our fellow citizens with kindness, understanding, and empathy, especially during these challenging times, while we await the gains of the government’s bold reforms and initiatives.

“Let us renew our patriotism and our commitment to building a stronger, more prosperous, and more united Nigeria.

“May this Easter bring us all abundant blessings, peace, and happiness. May it inspire us to strive for excellence and to foster harmony in our communities,” the Forum stated
