SSG, Patigi, Lafiagi, Tsaragi monarchs pay last respect to late mother of Shonga Emir

Janazah prayer for the repose of the late mother of Alhaji Dr. Haliru Yahaya Ndanusa OON, the Emir of Shonga, Hajiya Aishat Yahaya, has been held in Shonga Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State.

ROYAL NEWS reports that the prayer which comm3nced at exactly 9:54am was led by the Chief Imam of Shonga Emirate, Alhaji Jubril Usman, inside the Shonga Central Mosque.

The prayer was attended by the Secretary to the Government of Kwara State, Prof. Jibril Saba, the Etsu Patigi, Alhaji Umar Ibrahim Bologi II, the Emir of Lafiagi, Alhaji Mohammad Kawu Etsu Baba Kudu and Etsu Tsaragi, Alhaji Aliyu Abdullahi Kpotwa Gwoshi II.

Shortly after the prayer, the deceased was finally laid to rest amidst supplications by the entire Muslim ummah.
