Stay Back after voting and protect your votes, Jegede tells voters

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede (SAN)has asked his supporters not to leave their polling units after casting their votes.

Jegede, who voted at 10:46am at his polling unit in Akure, alleged that plans were ongoing to disenfranchise his supporters.
After casting his votes, Jegede and his wife sat at the polling unit while acknowledging cheers from the voters.

He said, ” Some have been in the queue for three hours in different parts of the state and they have not been able to vote. INEC should not disenfranchise our voters.

“After voting, don’t leave your polling units. I too will not leave until the votes are counted.
“By the grace of God, I will be victorious.”
