Steps to follow for 2020 N-Power application

The N-Power programme registration for Batch C registration commenced on Friday (June 26) at exactly 11:45 pm.

This was confirmed on the programme’s official Twitter handle post.

The Federal Government through the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development announced the commencement of enrolment for a new batch of N-Power beneficiaries effective June 26, 2020.

A statement by the ministry on Monday said “the N-Power Programme has enrolled 500,000 beneficiaries with 200,000 from Batch A which started in September 2016 and 300,000 from Batch B which commenced in August 2018, noting that the job opportunity is not permanent.

Solacebase reports that N-Power scheme is a job creation and empowerment programme of National Social Investment Program aimed at supporting young Nigerians to gain employment for a period of two years in the scheme so as for them to be self-reliant.

Also in this Batch C, 400,000 beneficiaries would be selected for the pool of applicants from across the country.

These are the procedure for applying for the N-Power 2020 registration

For the June 2020 Batch C scheme applicants are expected to apply online through this web address www.npower.fmhds.gov.ng website.

The application that is open to all Nigerians requires that the new applicants must be between the age bracket of 18 and 35.

These are the document needed for registration:

Bank Verification Number (BVN)
Recent passport photograph either for jpeg or PNG files.
Valid contact-Email address or working phone number
Applicant degree and NYSC certificate
Include your contact information (Email or Phone Number)

This information would take you to your email address for confirmation.

Immediately after the confirmation of your email address, you need to fill in your 11- digit BVN and date of birth for this order (dd/mm/yr)

Biodata and contact page: fill your surname, first name and middle name as stated in your BVN.

Education and Program page: in this section, you would indicate your level of education. The N-power program is open to everybody.

The N-Tech and N- health sub programs are open to only graduates.

The N-Power Health, the selection is for an applicant with Bachelor Degree, HND, OND for health sciences like Medicine, Microbiology, Nursing, Public Health, Botany, Midwifery, Psychology or discipline for sciences).

Applicants would need a soft copy of their degree certificates and NYSC certificate to upload.

Employment and other details page: Applicant would get answers to some questions and upload their issued identity card. These are the acceptable ID here:

International passport

National ID card with NIMC

Valid drivers licence

Permanent voter card

Review and submit Page

Also, check all the information you fill and then submit

Upon submission, the applicant would receive one unique ID number, write it down and keep safe.
